Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LokenDevelops (“LokenDevelops,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit lokendevelops.com (the “Site”), request a consultation, book a call, use our free site check, or otherwise contact us. It does not cover work we perform for clients under a signed agreement; that work is governed by the agreement and any data processing terms in it.

We keep this simple: we collect what we need to respond to you and run the business, we do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising trackers on this Site.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us.

• Consultation requests: your name, email address, company, website, role, the type of business you run, the systems you use, where your team loses time, a description of your process, approximate weekly volume, timeline, investment range, and how you heard about us.
• Call bookings: your name, email address, the time you choose and anything you add to the booking.
• Free site check: the web address you ask us to test. If you then request a consultation, we may attach the results to your request.
• Email and other messages you send us, including any attachments.

Information collected automatically.

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the date and time of your visit. This is recorded in standard server and security logs by our hosting and security providers.
• Spam and bot protection: when you submit the consultation form, Cloudflare Turnstile collects signals from your browser and device to confirm you are a person. We also record how long the form took to complete and which page it was sent from.
• Browser storage: the consultation form saves your answers in your browser’s session storage so you do not lose them if the page reloads. This data stays on your device and is cleared when you close the tab.

We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies on this Site. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

2. How we use information

• To respond to your inquiry, prepare for and hold consultations, and send proposals you request.
• To schedule calls and send calendar invitations and reminders.
• To run the free site check and explain its results.
• To provide services to clients and manage the business relationship.
• To protect the Site and our systems from spam, fraud and abuse.
• To improve the Site and our services.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We send you emails only in connection with your inquiry or our work together. We do not add you to marketing lists without your permission, and any marketing email we send will include a way to opt out.

We do not use information submitted through this Site to train artificial intelligence models.

3. How we share information

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate, and only for the purposes above:

• Google (Google Workspace, including Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Calendar and Google Apps Script) to receive, store and respond to inquiries and bookings; Google PageSpeed Insights to run the free site check; and Google Fonts to display the Site’s typefaces, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers.
• Cloudflare for domain name services and Turnstile bot protection.
• Vercel to host the Site.

We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process, to protect the rights, property or safety of LokenDevelops, our clients or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case the recipient must honor this policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months.

4. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and booking information for as long as needed to respond to you and manage any business relationship, and generally no longer than three years after our last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or a client agreement. Submissions identified as spam are deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see section 6).

5. How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete your information;
• stop sending you emails.

To make a request, email nate@lokendevelops.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it. We will respond within 45 days, and we will not treat you differently for making a request.

California residents. If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, you have the rights to know, delete and correct personal information, the right to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither), the right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect it for that purpose), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may also ask whether we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we have not.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We do not track visitors across third-party websites over time, so the Site does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to opt you out of, but we treat such a signal as a valid opt-out request.

7. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Where information is processed

LokenDevelops is based in the United States, and the information described here is stored and processed in the United States by us and our service providers.

9. Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites and services. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.

10. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell you on the Site or by email before it takes effect.
